Evangelism is a fruitless exercise at work unless the person who is sharing the Good News is a competent, kind, interested acquaintance or friend who has taken the time to know and connect in a fairly transparent way with others. Being a Christian is not a license to “deliver” the gospel of Jesus Christ like a sandwich. Quite the contrary - reverence for God is an attitude that includes the love of people – if you love people, they’ll know it because you will behave with them with the humility, acceptance, and kindness they crave. In other words, treat them as if they are in the family of God already. Do for them what you would do for a member of your Bible Study group, or a favorite church friend. Think about it.
