We need to pray for our friends at work. We need to pray that they are successful at work. We need to pray for their health, their families, their safety when they travel, and for sound relationships with them that are good, solid friendships. We need to pray that God will lead them to trust in Christ for their salvation, whether we tell them the Good News or someone else does. We need to pray for them intentionally, understanding that we are part of the “preparing the ground,” “sowing the seeds of the gospel,” and “harvesting,” that are the grand cycle of God’s approach to telling the Good News. Then, when we have the opportunity to tell them about the Good News, we should be conversational and gentle in our approach. Our job is to present Christ to our friends. The Holy Spirit can take it from there!
