Just as doctors, lawyers, and plumbers have their own jargon to describe their professions, so Christians use terms that sometimes confound those who are not of the Christian faith. So we have attempted to de-code these terms, while stating the meaning truly. We hope you are helped by this effort. We used a number of references and are willing to share them if you comment asking for sources. Some of the information is repetitive, primarily because I am old enough now to know that most people, myself included, seldom read every word of what is put before them.
